AL FALAH MISSION ENGLISH SCHOOL is a private English Medium School with hostel facilities run by AL-FALAH MISSION, Berhampore. The AL-Falah Mission Berhampore is a registered Community Based Organisation (CBO) meant for service to poor and deserving Muslim masses in particular and all other people in general. The School is open to all children irrespective of their caste, creed and religion. The School offers academic education of best possible standard within reach of the Mission with special emphasis on moral values. True education is training of both the head and the heart. Intellectual or academic education that fails to train the heart can be dangerous and meaningless. In other words education of the mind without morals is a potential menace to society. The school strives to build fundamental traits of character - such as 'akhlas (Purity of motives), accountability, commitment, patience, discipline, charity, honesty, integrity, tolerance, respect com-passion, empathy, and responsibility. The course curriculum has been framed taking into account above mentioned objectives in mind and giving sufficient em- phasis for all round development of children from physical, men tal and moral point of view. The School follows the pattern of course as recommended by CISCE New Delhi. The medium of instruction is English and Bengali / Hindi/Urdu shall be taught as a vernacular language(s).
Every year full and half free studenship is granted to meritorious and needy students. Number and criteria for the same are determined by the School Management every year. The list of beneficiaries will duly be notified in the School Notice Board.
